Always On Friday came together in May of 2018. A small project that started as a hobby, quickly turned professional with our first show booked at Crowne Plaza Hotel for the True North Conference. After that, more venues started showing interest.

From 2024-2025 we grew a lot of traction and fans!!!

In 2026 the band grew from a group of 5, to 8!

Adding percussion, sax, keys, synth, and hip hop artistry!

Ryan is the lead guitarist and vocalist in the band. His back ground includes an education from Trebas in Recording Arts and Science. His past projects include a variation of rock and metal bands. His musical influences are guitarist such as Steve Stevens, Jimi Hendrix and Slash to name a few.

Lesley is one of the lead vocalists in our group. Her musical influences has such a wide range there is too many to be listed! Her main passion for the band is rock and metal tunes. She is the booking manager for the group and director of singing telegrams. If you are interested in the band, connect with her! Hayley is one of our lead vocalists. Her past projects vary but you may mainly know her as lead singer of Puncture Vine. Her musical interests range from industrial, to rock and metal. Hayleys talents pulls the group together for her ability to arrange the groups harmonies and keys. Hayley is a critical part of the group! 

Tim is the groups killer bassist. His background includes projects such as Prophecy, and Crimson Breed. Tims musical influences range from classic rock to industrial metal. Come see Tim shred on the bass at an upcoming show!

Carolina is an established musician. She is one of our lead singers in the group adding her years of professional expertise and flair. Her musical tastes have a wide variety. She is a trained opera singer with her Masters whom you will get to experience at all our live shows.

Danielle is our secret weapon of hip-hop AOF and boy- did we get lucky! This firecracker holds down a beat and rythum which has allowed us to expand into a new genre for us, Hip Hop!

If you haven't seen the crowd when she performs you are missing out- the energy she brings out from everyone is absolutely incredible!!!! 

Small Dog Studio's owner and engineer, Ian Graham, is a highly educated musician and audio engineer holding a BA in Music Composition and has over 30 years in performance/engineering in a very wide variety of muscial styles from classical, rock, jazz, theater, church and country. Ian is an Apple certified Logic Pro X trainer and has also taught audio production at Conestoga and Niagara college as well as Wilfrid Laurier University. He holds a Grade 10 conservatory degree in pipe organ, Grade 9 conservatory degree in piano. Ian is also a proficient bass player with influences from Rush, Supertramp, Yes, etc.

Kim’s passion for music and performance is unmistakable! A talented musician and vocalist, he brings genuine heart and energy to every gig. Whether he’s on saxophone, flute, or congas, Kim layers in texture and groove, adding depth that really makes each song come alive.

He’s classically trained too—earning an Honours Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario, and an Honours Music Specialist from Queen’s University—but he never lets the résumé get in the way of the vibe.

A highly sought-after wind player throughout Southern Ontario, Kim has played on a wide range of recordings and albums, earning a solid reputation as a respected performer. Bonus: he is super friendly and an absolute blast to hang out with.

When he’s not on stage with Always on Friday, you’ll catch Kim playing with Funk ’n Circumstance, Soul Dip, Ian Andrews and the Big Bad Blues Show, Foghorn Saxhorn, James Campbell Band or Devil Spork.
